    1. Comment on the general effectiveness of the presentation. Are the slides easy to understand? Do they effectively convey key information? What suggestions would you make for improving the presentation?

    2. Comment on the “overall concept appeal” results. What does this slide convey? Does it provide a clear picture? What changes, if any, would you make in the presentation of this information?

    3. Comment on the “naming comparison” results slide. A strong contingent of managers favor the TouchWell Care Café name. What would you say to them? What would be your first choice among the names tested based on the research findings? Second choice? Third choice?

    4. How would your recommendations for services to offer differ based on the appeal of service? Likelihood to use service? Which one do you think is more important? 5. What would your recommendations be regarding key characteristics of the centers?

    ## Module 6 Discussion
Select a published study in a behavior analytic journal published within the last five years that uses a multiple baseline design and evaluate its adherence to the requirements for making comparisons across baselines. Be sure to reference the article in APA format, and make sure your DOI link works (or upload a PDF of the article itself) and that your APA formatted reference includes only accurate details about the article you cite. If either of these requirements is missing, your grade on this discussion will be an automatic 0.
Here is a Zoom recording to show you how to find behavior analytic journals through our library website if you aren't sure how to do that. The recording is super quick (under two minutes). 🙂
    Passcode: 6Hs4#?yG
Please let me know if you have any questions after you watch this recording.
In your post, include the following:
    1. Identify the experimental question and purpose of the study. (5 points)
    2. Identify the exact design utilized (e.g., non-concurrent multiple baseline) (5 points)
    3. Evaluate the visual display of data and describe the (2 points each):
    – Level
    – Trend
    – Variability
    – Latency to change
    4. Summarize if the study demonstrated control and evidence to support your decision (2 points).
In your response to a peer, identify which type of experimental question was utilized in their study. A (5) point response cost for failure to complete this task.

    Module 6, Part 1: Introduction

Welcome to Module 6: Performance Assessments, part 2!

This 2-part module will provide an overview of the types of performance assessment tools used by performance management practitioners, and the historical foundations of these assessments are explored. Strategies for conducting historical assessments will be shared, including lists of documents that may be reviewed to influence interventions. Indirect assessments, including diagnostic tools and consequence analyses, will be demonstrated using both research and practical applications. Reviews of different types of direct observation strategies will also be reviewed in the context of determining interventions, and finally, the use of experimental analysis in PM practice will also be discussed, including exploring why the use of these analyses are more common in clinical ABA than performance management practice.

Upon successful completion of this module, learners should be able to:

¡ Identify the factors taken into consideration in ABC/Consequence analysis

¡ Determine the most powerful consequences to integrate into an intervention, depending on the desired behavior change

¡ Identify the different descriptive assessments, given a scenario

¡ Determine the conditions under which a descriptive assessment is appropriate (or inappropriate)

¡ Select reasons why experimental analysis is less common in PM practice than clinical ABA

    **Reflection Paper Rubric (25 points)**

Reflection papers consist of brief responses to a prompt related to the information shared in each week’s module. Using both the assigned materials and external references, the student should thoughtfully and thoroughly respond to the prompt. Reflection paper assignments will be graded as follows:

    Assignment Prompt & Instructions

    **To Prepare for this Assignment:**
Review the work that you have done in the last two weeks, making sure that each cell in the matrix is completed. Create your reference list, including books and methodological articles on each area. You can use the ones listed in the Learning Resources and search for your own as well.
Write a 2- to 3-page narrative. In your narrative, be sure to respond to the following:
    – Summarize what you have learned about the similarities and differences among the approaches.
    – Describe how what you’ve learned by developing the matrix has allowed you to choose the approach that you plan to use for your research plan in this course.
    – Identify the approach you intend to use for your research question.
    – Describe your rationale for your choice of approach.
Submit your Qualitative Research Approaches Matrix Template (which you worked on during Weeks 2 and 3) and your narrative to your Instructor.
