The deal you discuss today may not be executed in time to  reap the full potential of the opportunity. You could be (Peng, 2009)  negotiating a deal that may cost 15 percent more in a few months when  the transaction is finalized. Worse yet, you may offer a promotion that  costs you significantly more a week into the offering (Peng, 2009). Lock  in currency rates and delivery dates in advance whenever possible. The  less speculation, the better.

    pillow requires the following:
    1.25 yards of fabric at a cost to Patio Pillows of $6 per yard.
    Each month, the company has a goal to maintain ending stock of fabric equal to 10% of the next month’s
    production requirements. The company also has a goal to have finished pillow ending stock equal to
    20% of the anticipated next month’s sales.

    3. Prepare the direct materials purchases budget. Note that Patio Pillows assumes that the

    **TIMELINE:**
    Once you have selected the topic and title, submit that into your Week 3 submission. You must receive approval of the topic prior to moving forward.
    Between Weeks 3 and 6, you will develop a draft of your project term paper. This should be a working draft that allows me to review and provide feedback of your project.
    Between Weeks 6 and 8, you will finalize your project term paper and develop a minimum slide deck (1 cover slide and at least 1 reference slide) on your topic. You will record a 5 minute overview presentation from your final paper.
    **TERM PAPER REQUIREMENTS:**
    Term paper will be a minimum of 7 double-spaced pages. There is a separate cover sheet and reference sheet that is not included in the minimum requirements. No Table of Contents is required.
    As you have control over the viewpoint of a topic, there is no set template in word that applies to all ways to discuss a topic. However, it must be organized with an Introduction and Conclusion or Summary of your paper. Develop appropriate headers to separate your topical discussions with the paper.
    Use Times New Roman, 12-pt. font. Follow APA 7th edition. This will provide you with the appropriate header development, in-text citations, and your reference list.
    Sources: You will need to provide a minimum of 5 peer-reviewed sources. You may use your textbook; however, that is not considered one of the 5 sources. You cannot use Wikipedia, Investopedia, Technopedia or online course books or sources (Accountingtools.com). I will not give you credit for these sources.
